In the age we live in, everyone has an opinion and we have the electronic media to make it known to all. The written and infallible word of God never changes. They were handed down through the prophets over 2,000 years ago and are the most documented and most accurate ever recorded. The wisdom in these pages is astonishing and just as applicable to mankind today as it was when first scribed. Since it's inception, Acts 1:8 Ministry has relied upon the wisdom contained within The Bible to help guide its mission to spread Christianity through acts of kindness.
It is sinful man that has attempted to discredit and distort God's word over the years all in a effort to rationalize ungodly actions, to justify their sins that are most likely rooted in lust & greed in one way or another.
No one wants to stand alone in their wicked ways. They desire and encourage others to join them as then they feel secure in what they do. They wage all out war against the presence of God seeking to bring everyone over to their side where there is no almighty creator and one that we will all have to answer to when it is our time.
But even worse is when they work to change the very meaning of God's word in order to justify His acceptance of their sinful actions. Then in turn teach this false doctrine to others causing them to wander from the narrow path that God has laid out for us.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
So stay in His word. Read it and study it with learned others. Practice it daily so your faith is strong and steadfast in its truth. But also remember that love for God and one another is the Lord;s ultimate commandment.
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. So practice these fruits of His Spirit daily so that others may see His good works in you and desire to walk in His light as well.
