Water Saves Lives!
In Uganda alone, about 23,000 children die every year from unsanitary drinking water. Reverend Celestine from Africa tells us, "In Africa, we say water is life." Water is not that accessible, yet it is vital. The major sources of water for most people are bacteria-infected swamps. Using this water leads to water-borne diseases, such as typhoid and cholera, which are deadly. Children do not attend school when they get these diseases and negatively impacts their learning.
To obtain safe drinking water, many children walk several miles every day before and after school. Often, children do not even attend school because they spend the day providing water for their families.
Acts 1:8 Ministry® has already provided over 88 water towers in Uganda. This enables the rain water to be collected during the rainy seasons. It is a dream come true for a family to get a water tower! Thank you for allowing these families the privilege of clean and safe water.
When you donate, you are giving life to families in Uganda. Your donation between $500 - $5,000 will matched in full by an anonymous donor.
